Mi beca Fulbright 2026-2027 construye alianzas de investigación centradas en la comunidad entre la Universidad de Nebraska-Lincoln y la Universidad de Chile, junto a la Asociación de Empresarios Agrícolas de Llanquihue (Agrollanquihue). Trabajamos en co-creación, como colegas y no como sujetos, en torno a la IA responsable para la gobernanza participativa del agua en la Región de Los Lagos, donde las lluvias de verano han caído casi a la mitad en una década.
My Fulbright 2026-2027 builds community-centered research partnerships between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Universidad de Chile, alongside the Association of Agricultural Entrepreneurs of Llanquihue (Agrollanquihue). We work in co-creation, as colleagues and not subjects, around responsible AI for participatory water governance in the Los Lagos region, where summer rainfall has nearly halved in a decade.

Como profesora visitante en la Universidad de Chile, diseño e imparto IA Responsable para la Investigación: un curso corto de cuatro sesiones, en español y con materiales abiertos y bilingües. No enseña a usar la IA; enseña a decidir con criterio cuándo, cómo y por qué usarla, con la persona siempre al mando, y cierra en una revista colectiva construida por quienes participan.
As a Visiting Professor at the Universidad de Chile, I design and teach Responsible AI for Research: a four-session short course, in Spanish, with open bilingual materials. It doesn't teach how to use AI; it teaches the judgment to decide when, how, and why to use it, with the person always in the lead, and closes in a collective magazine built by the participants themselves.

La comunidad co-lidera cada etapa. La reciprocidad, la confianza y la retroalimentación iterativa no son cortesías: son requisitos del método. El proceso de co-creación y el prototipo que nace de él son el resultado, y la herramienta es un gesto de reciprocidad, nunca una extracción.
The community co-leads every stage. Reciprocity, trust, and iterative feedback aren't niceties; they're methodological requirements. The co-creation process and the prototype born from it are the outcome, and the tool is a token of reciprocity, never an extraction.
