En la Universidad de Nebraska-Lincoln trabajo con la iniciativa PRAIRIE (College of Engineering) junto a estudiantes, profesorado y socios institucionales. Nuestra pregunta no es «¿cómo prohibimos o permitimos la IA?», sino una más difícil: ¿qué lenguaje compartido nos permite decidir, caso por caso, quién lidera, quién responde y a quién sirve o le cuesta?
At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln I work with the PRAIRIE initiative (College of Engineering) alongside students, faculty, and institutional partners. Our question isn't "how do we ban or allow AI?" but a harder one: what shared language lets us decide, case by case, who leads, who is accountable, and whom it serves or costs?

Parto de dos preguntas que una auditoría técnica suele saltarse. La de rendición de cuentas: diseñamos para la persona que lidera, la que debe confiar en el medio, usarlo y responder por él. Y la de justicia: ¿a quién sirve, a quién le cuesta y qué saberes cuentan? De ahí sale un marco que no reemplaza el criterio docente: lo hace explícito.
I start from two questions a technical audit tends to skip. The accountability question: we design for the person in the lead, the one who must trust the medium, use it, and answer for it. And the justice question: who does it serve, who does it cost, and whose knowledge counts? What comes out is a framework that doesn't replace teacherly judgment; it makes it explicit.
